My Strawberry Taming Diary

Scientist Megan: Well, it’s very simple. You can start by walking into any supermarket and buying a strawberry. But if you’re up for a challenge, I highly recommend going into the wild to “pick” one instead. Taming a wild strawberry is far more rewarding...

Last week, we invited scientist Megan to Wollagedaily, and she shared with us the secret of taming a strawberry. Inspired by her talk, I decided to start my own taming journey.

Day-1

She is such a gorgeous, shining strawberry in the wild.
The moment I saw her in a nearby field, my eyes were instantly drawn to her spirit. Without hesitation, I carefully picked her and brought her home.

Day-2

I woke up at 8:00 am to find her silently staring at me from the bedside table.
Even in the dim light of my room, her skin glowed like ruby.

Day-3

It’s still hard to reach my strawberry.
Yes she's studying me—testing my patience as every time I approach her. Hmm wish time can fill our gap.

Day-4

Progress!
When I whispered good morning today, she seemed a little less shy. Her leaves trembled slightly, as if waving back to me.

Day-5

We shared a sunrise together.
I opened the window to let the first light in, and for a moment, she and I were breathing in the warmth together.
Trust is growing but slowly.

Day-6

Today, I gently cupped her in my hands for the first time.
Her sweetness filled the air, dashing into my nose. My strawberry is no longer just a wild wanderer.

Day-7

It was a great dream that we had picnic in a park.
I am certain we are friends now.
But she ran away as her fading leaves remained on the floor...

Argh! Argh! Argh! I should've tried taming a supermarket one :(
